This is Craig the great "Wasp Hunter". I missed putting this picture in the last update. He also put the Christmas Lights up and mowed all the lawns and found where the wasps were coming in and pluged it up so we have'nt had a wasp in our windows since...Debbi vacuumed
all the upstairs and the stairs and went shopping with mom and she
spent alot of time on the phone on our programable thermostat and
then programed it ..And she is copying a bunch of music records to CDs.

Many thanks to you two.....

The weather has been great . .We worked in the yard, cleaning flower beds, got the hoses
in, turned off the water ( it's been in the low 30's and high 20's this past week) Cut the grass short, will rototill the garden, cleaned up the frozen tomato plants. The Doctor told me to take it easy for a while after the surgery and gave me the ok this weekend. Rea has been out working while I've been told (Rea) to take it easy. . . Not fun !! We have been blessed and are still able to remain active... well I'll send this installment and hope it goes as I sent it.. Love Dad.

Update on events in our life....

Unfinished business . . .Here are the rest of the children .

When I was practicing getting pictures onto the blog, pictures of Bruce, Debbie and Chris just happened to be with in reach. Denise said that we had more children than three... so here are "the rest of the" Children...

Jeffrey Paul at 6 months.

Denise at 6 months.

Janelle at 1 year

Debbie and Craig came up to help us get ready for winter and did many things. One was to install a programable thermostat. Here Craig and I are trying to figure out the wiring numbering system.

Got it !!!!

As most of you know, I had a Basal cell Carcinoma (skin cancer) on my left temple. I had removed on Wednesday the 8th of October. The procedure was
what they call MOHS Micrographic Surgery. It involves taking out part of the growth, examine it, mapping it and taking more of the tissue if needed. I had to have a repeated procedure to get all the cancer roots out. The second procedure proved cancer free.

This is the before picture.

This after the second procedure. The ink lines
are for the skin flaps for plastic surgery to cover the wound. (I have now had a face lift..)

Right after I got home . . .

Two days after surgery. . .

Three days after surgery. . .with two black eyes and some brusing on my chin..

I can now smile, kind of. I'll be glad when the swelling goes down. I see the Doctor next Wednesday.. He is a member of the Dry Canyon Ward and lives close to us up here on the hill.

So that is all that is happened in our lives...

P.S. It Snowed this morning uuugh. Love Dad.

56th Wedding Anniversary

This is the famous LaBeau's Sweet Shop that has wonderful Fresh Raspberry shakes and hamburgers..

Fall colors in Logan Canyon.

Beautiful Clouds over the Mountains....

We celebrated our 56th wedding anniversary going out to Bear Lake and enjoying a Raspberry shake and hamburger. And enjoying the colorful mountains. We remembered back on October 2nd 1952 when we were sealed to each other with all our future children. We had to be at the temple at 7:00 am. That meant Rea's parents had to get up at 3:30 am to milk the cows. We remember bits and pieces of the temple endownment session.

We had our wedding luncheon at the Blue Bird restaurant because it was the only one in town..
