Interesting Pictures.

Our Magnolia tree in our front yard. It turned brown this morning due to 28 degrees last night. But we mowed our Lawn for the first time. (Such a treat!)

Navy hair cut . . . Not a center piece . . . Rea did not give me the crew cut...
This is a table center piece for the Preparedness fair . It is made from real Wheat sprouts and flowers. You can see that you need to cut the wheat as it grows. Rea said it reminds her of the first haircuts she gave me. . . .

See above.... (:-0)

The Stake's big Saturday Emergence Preparedness Fair was a great success. Loads of ideas, special foods that used your year supply items, electric power generators, survial clothing, and on and on. the whole Cultural Hall was filled with displays. Rea's part was with the food. She talked me into trying the energy Barley Water (no taste but a water taste) What did I expect, Barley WATER !! Dahuuu. (BUT . . . barley water has many healthful properties, it helps congestion, arthritis, and clears asthma. . . . even if it is the stuff that the kids in 'Mary Poppins' didn't want their Nanny to smell like!) It can even be used for a sports drink. Add a bottle full of fruit juice and it tastes like diluted juice.

We're Back!

It's been awhile since we've posted so we'll start from here!

Visitors from the South!

They came, they saw, they spent, they ate, they made messes...jk..., they tutored on the computered!

And they left us with happy hearts!

Mom made yummy food
the whole time , and never
a mess in the kitchen ...

How does she do it?

Debbi ... the computer wizard
giving computer lessons.

Janelle - The Flower Girl!

Nana also wanted "something new" for the island, so we went tropical! (Get it? Island? Tropical? (: )

Fun Stuff!

This is just some of the fun stuff we did ...

Notice how many times there's food in the picture!

We hung out in the kitchen a lot ...

cuz that's where the food is ....
OH REALLY?!

Deb helping Dad with the computer. Mom is super happy about this!

If you haven't seen the albums Dad is working on, you're missing out!

Amidst all the chaos, Mom still had to give a talk for a Ward Conference on Sunday! She's our favorite
Stake Relief Society Prez!

Dad can't believe his eyes ...
MORE FOOD!

(Nana's really good at food!)

Surprise!

So after Debbi left we switched visitors! (:
Courtney came up Sunday afternoon... what a nice surprise!

Monday morning came and so did the sound of the rototiller! ...

WHAT? Mom's doing manual labor! We can't let that happen!

Give me that! (:

WHEW!

We got a lot done and we're totally confused with what's going on with the computer...

Thanks to the VISITORS FROM THE SOUTH!

What we've been up to!

Dad has been putting together all our pictures
of all the kids and putting them into binders.

He has been working hard and long to make
sure they go in the right spot and trims them to look good on the binder
pages. (they do look great!)
And when he gets tired of doing it he sits down
and reads the paper!
